and Esteem Needs” follow safety needs.
Both of these categories involve experiencing love and appreciation; the only di erence is where we look for it. With “Belongingness and Love Needs” we look for love outside of ourselves, through relationships with groups and other individuals. With “Esteem Needs,”
we look within ourselves for love and appreciation. Since the experience is the same, I combined them
