dynamic report. It’s still challenging to sift through all of the data to identify the hot spots, but time maps make it far more manageable.
Once I identify a hot spot where there are multiple triggers, I can isolate just those waveforms, and begin to interpret the speci c energies. e potential is contained in the primary direction. e nature of the transits suggests if the potential is being augmented or suppressed.
Secondary progressions don’t integrate well with these tools.
While I know many astrologers who nd connections between signi cant events and secondary progressions, I’ve not found that progressions integrate well with directions, returns, and transits. My sense is that Secondary Progressions work best as a spiritual and psychological tool,
and that they combine especially well with Tertiary and Minor Progressions. Robert Blaschke wrote an excellent book on these techniques, Astrology: A Language of Life Volume 1 — Progressions, and I plan to explore them in the future.
The Future of Predictive Natal
Astrology
It’s been an eventful three years for me. I still don’t have all of the answers. I don’t even have all of the questions. But at least I have some working
theories to explore.
I will continue to
explore the quantum approach to events, and use primary directions, solar returns with annual profections, and transits. I think this approach will
build a solid foundation of predictive skills, although it only scratches the surface of what’s possible. And it doesn’t even begin to address the timing of events, which I think is its own eld of study.
is entire ordeal has given me a glimpse into my future. Volume 3 of the Talented Astrologer Training
Series will be Principles of Practical Predictive Astrology. It will be a comprehensive, practical, critical
explorationofhowtouseastrology to answer questions and see into the future. I’m con dent the book will be published. I just can’t predict when.
