To ask a question is to begin to collapse the waveform. Out of in nite potential, you select a speci c, narrow set of options, de ned by the context of the question. is is why not every question can be answered by astrology. “When will I get a job?” is not speci c enough to answer.
ere are too many variables and too much potential. But “Should I take this job?” or “Is now a good time to look for a new job?” narrow the focus to a single waveform.
When I set out to teach the Online Predictive Astrology Class, I thought the major distinction in predictive astrology was between
2-dimensional and 3-dimensional interpretation. In the quantum approach, the distinction is between
single-chart and multiple-chart
questions.
Single-chart predictive
astrology considers a single, objective chart to answer the question.
Examples of single-chart predictive astrology include horary astrology, electional astrology, and many types of mundane astrology, such as event interpretation. Single- chart predictive astrology is able to
provide detailed, speci c, precise answers because the scope of the question itself is so narrow. ese questions are limited in every dimension, including time. e questions, the charts, and the answers only cover the immediate future and the immediate outcome.
Multiple-chart predictive astrology considers more than one chart.
It can address more general questions with a broader scope, but it can’t provide speci c, precisely timed answers to those questions because there are just too many variables to consider. To emphasize this distinction, and address unconscious assumptions about predictive astrology, I created a new branch of astrology: predictive natal astrology. Predictive natal astrology uses the birth chart of the individual as the foundation, and considers a variety of di erent triggers that activate the potential in the birth chart in di erent ways.
Each trigger—be it transit, progression, or direction—is a waveform. A single trigger creates almost unlimited possibilities, because each planet in the chart represents a so many di erent potential expressions. If Mars is triggered, it could make you angry, passionate, or energized; but if Mars rules your Fifth and Tenth Houses, it could also create action in any of your
Fifth House a airs (sex, entertainment, children, creativity, risk) or your Tenth House a airs (career, life path, public image, reputation, relationship
