Maia Asks:

“The advice is to look in the 2nd house for the ‘querent’s’ movable possessions. However, I am doing the chart because I lost an item that belongs to a coworker. So do I look at the second house from the sixth? Also, I have Saturn in the 7th. Does that mean I should refrain from judgment, that it would do me harm?”

Kevin Answers:

Lost objects are always the 2nd house ruler. It doesn’t matter who they belong to. If you are the one asking the question, then you are the 1st house. If your coworker asked the question and you’re simply interpreting the chart, then your coworker is the 1st house. The 1st house is always the person asking the question.

Saturn in the 7th house is a “stricture” against judgment in Horary. Not every horary chart is fit to be judged. When Saturn is in the 7th house, it is an indication that the astrologer (you) have made a mistake and/or your judgment with respect to the question will be flawed.
